    Project Rewards

The primary benefit of this project is to easily identify the areas in Tulsa where target demographics (kids 0-4 living below the poverty level) have not yet enrolled in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, allowing the Tulsa City-County Library to implement targeted services.

    Definitions Of Success

Areas where there is a gap in service are identified and can be compared to areas of high poverty in order to establish the areas of highest need. Resources near areas of highest need are identified.

    Project Goals

Identify areas where the library program can make a potential impact, including the number of kids in the area and socioeconomic data of households

    Centered Perspectives

Success is defined by the library program, however, the ultimate goal is to benefit children in Tulsa, particularly those in low-income households.

    Data Sources

Internal data sources provided by the library were used to show where outreach has already occurred; Census data was used for demographic information.

    Data Fields

Demographic information is from Census tables DP02 and DP05
