Individuals in poverty is defined as those whose income in the past 12 months at the time of survey response was below poverty level. The poverty rate was calculated by dividing the number of individuals in poverty by the total overall population.

Targeting Change

Every day, one in five children in Tulsa County is undernourished. Hunger impacts every aspect of a person - body, mind, and soul. Restore Hope is committed to reducing hunger in our community. During FY 2022-2023 Restore Hope distributed 232,922 pounds of food to 814 families.
Restore Hope has been helping families prevent homelessness for over 30 years, with success rates over 99%. In 2022-2023, Restore Hope helped 1,219 families with $3,801,904 in rent assistance.
The Market at Catholic Charities allows our clients to choose the foods their family prefers, eliminating food waste and providing balanced and healthy food choices.
